Exchange cards and bank withdrawals solve different problems:
- Exchange card: spends a balance held in your exchange account without moving funds outside the platform; suited to everyday purchases and subscriptions.
- Bank withdrawal: sends fiat currency to your bank account; more suitable for moving larger amounts into the banking system.
A common misconception is that getting an exchange card completes an off-ramp. In practice, card limits, market eligibility, and merchant compatibility all have boundaries; larger transfers still need a bank channel. We have a separate guide to layered, compliant off-ramp routes for larger sums.

| Binance | Binance Card Global | Requires a verified account and documents from an eligible market; check the card entry in the app. | Fee schedule dated 2026-09-21 lists zero issuance and annual fees; FX markup varies by market from 0% to 3%; crypto conversion is usually 0.9%. | Active |

How to choose from an off-ramp perspective
Step 1: Confirm which card you can get in your market. Card eligibility can be narrower than exchange-account eligibility. OKX's EEA card excludes Iceland and Liechtenstein; Kraken Card serves the UK and EEA; Coinbase Card serves US residents except those in Hawaii.
Step 2: Separate spending from cash withdrawal.
- Card purchase: the merchant charges the card and funds remain within the payment system.
- ATM withdrawal: may involve a card-provider fee, an ATM operator fee, and an FX spread; the combined cost is often much higher than paying by card.
- Bank wire: does not use the card network and is more suitable for larger amounts.
Step 3: Calculate stablecoin conversion costs. This is easy to overlook. OKX's EEA version lists a 0.1% market spread for stablecoin-to-fiat conversion; Binance lists a typical 0.9% crypto conversion fee; MEXC Global says it charges no crypto conversion fee. The differences are material.
Step 4: Check when the fee was valid. MEXC Global's 0% spending-fee promotion ended on 2026-09-30 and the 1% fee resumed on 2026-10-01. Check time-limited promotions against the current date rather than relying on an older article.
Products whose status has changed
- Bitget Card (exchange card): from 2026-08-01, new applications moved to Bitget Wallet. Existing users can use their cards until expiry but cannot renew them. New users should check the wallet-card product.
- CEX.IO Card: the program is transitioning. The former program used Visa or Mastercard depending on region; the network for the new program has not yet been announced.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I withdraw TWD from OKX?
The OKX Card EEA and Australian versions in our records do not include Taiwan. Taiwan residents generally use a domestic exchange's fiat channel, which is a different route from a foreign exchange card. We found no affirmative OKX Card eligibility statement for Taiwan and do not infer one.
Can I withdraw Binance funds to a Hong Kong bank card?
It depends on the regional version of your Binance account and local terms. Binance Card Global uses Immersve for card services. The official information requires a verified account and valid documents from an eligible market, and does not guarantee that applications are available in every country. Check the card entry in the app.
Can an exchange card replace a bank account for large withdrawals?
We do not recommend treating it as a substitute. Exchange cards are better suited to everyday spending and smaller cash withdrawals; larger transfers need a bank channel with a clear, documented flow of funds. Compliance requirements and limits differ.
Why do fee figures for the same card differ between articles?
Exchange cards are often issued in regional versions, and some rates are promotional. Always retain the region and verification date when quoting a fee. We preserve conflicting published terms rather than selecting one figure and presenting it as universal.
