Among these cards, some were retired deliberately after an acquisition, some went down with a parent platform, and some ended when an issuing partner restructured. Keeping a commercial exit separate from a failure is what stops a reader from misjudging the risk on the card they hold.

Why these pages exist on their own
A card profile answers "what is this product", and it is written for someone deciding whether to apply. Once a card is closed the question changes: when did it stop, does it affect me, what can I move to, and what has to be done by when. Those four answers were scattered across the change log, the shutdown notice and the fee wording; this page collects them.
This site carries only verified official sources and does not speculate beyond them. Where an issuer has not published a replacement route, the page says so rather than offering a plausible-looking suggestion.
